The Ruler

Like promised, here is a file to help you along in deciphering these upcoming free patterns. Until I can figure out how to make this a free download you can get off this post, you will have to get it directly from me. . . that is send me an email at: theuglydame@gmail.com. This will be a PDF and is upside down . . . but thankfully not backwards . . .I hope that if you d request this it will arrive safely and without hiccups but no promises . . I am not as tech savvy as I appear. But best of luck to us all, yes? Also, you can find this ruler in many places like ebay, etsy, and other places where you can get a nice one.
Do take some time to look at these pervious posts too on some hints of working with the pattern system. Some of these past posts concern the history of the pattern system as well as some tips and tricks to help you along (or else terribly confuse you  . .  . ):
A Brief History: Der Goldene Schnitt
Bust, Waist, Hip? Which One to Use
How Does That Work???: Breaking Down the Lutterloh System
Coming Soon . . .Free Pattern Fridays.
Anyways . .  what will the sheet look like and what will all be on it? As of right now, the sheet will include a scan of my very own ruler. It is the ruler that I have used for almost 3 years now. All you have to do is print that sheet out, cut out the ruler and add on to it. Remember, use centimeters!! We are using a German pattern system and are using metric!
Also on the sheet is a little hint on how to add a facing, a seam allowance, and what some the squiggle and dotted lines mean on the patterns.
Over time, I hope to update and improve this help sheet and if there is anything you think ought to be on there, please do let me know! Happy Sewing!
