Pajama Day!, 1940

When the snow begins to swirl and twirl and venturing outside becomes risky, it is a nice day to stay inside and have a pajama day. Yes? Well, today for Free Pattern Friday I have two pajama patterns for you to play with and enjoy and this time they are for adults. I think these look so comfortable and to be fashioned out of cozy flannel? Oh yes! Both of these pajamas use the same pant pattern and use two different tops. One top is roomy and loose and the other more tailored and sleek.   Oh and the little heart pockets? What a great idea. . .
The Pattern:

The pants are a more typical pant pattern with side seams and they have a placket in the side. There are darts in the front pant pattern. Both patterns as far as I can tell use the same pattern for the top yoke portion. Note the little bit of flare these have too at the lover leg.
For the model on the right, her patterns are the yoke in the upper right hand corner that makes the sleeve and top of her top. Here on this portion will do any neck opening. Then, the other top pieces for her are in the middle there with those squiggles at the shoulders. The middle piece at the bottom in the front, the one above it is the back.
For the more roomy option, that is the pattern in the upper left corner there and note there is no sleeve for that one. That sleeve they assumed was too basic to add to the pattern and it really is a simple one.  . . You could use a simple sleeve pattern from a printed pattern and I feel confident it would work just fine. The pattern for this top does not seem  to be cut wide enough but I am sure it is . . You may want to consider adding some flare to it just in case.
